Geopolitical
Syria:
- Following a violation of the truce agreement by Syrian Government Forces, the Druze Resistance Forces launch an offensive to push Syrian Government Forces out of the western countryside of Suweida. After the Druze Resistance Forces seized control of the strategic hill in Tal Hadid, they withdrew to their original positions after a new truce agreement has been established. Syrian Government Forces violated the truce agreement and pushed further east towards Suweida city. Fierce clashes continued throughout the night.
- Israel launched a military operation in the Quneitra countryside utilising over 40 vehicles of the IDF.
- An ambush targeted a convoy of Syrian MOI forces in the countryside of Daraa resulting in 4 casualties.
- Turmoil in Syria as activist Kindi al Adai was found murdered in his home in the Syrian government-controlled town of Deir Ezzor, shortly after his release from detention in a Syrian government prison, where he was subjected to torture for criticizing the government.
