Shahba Canton north of Aleppo:
At 01:00 CET, the Turkish-led military coalition, Syrian National Army (SNA), launched an attack on the Al Shahba region. The assault targeted the Maraanaz frontline, near Azaaz. The attacks resumed after sunrise, escalating into a large-scale offensive against Maraanaz and its surrounding countryside.
Simultaneously, the SNA launched an offensive to capture the Kurdish-held town of Sheikh Issa. By 11:00 AM, clashes between the Peoples Protection Forces (YPG) and the Turkish-led SNA spread rapidly across all frontlines: west, east, and north of Shahba.
Around 12:00, a Turkish drone was spotted circling over the eastern frontline, continuing its surveillance for an hour.
At 13:00, the Russian airforce conducted extensive airstrikes targeting the Turkish-led SNA at the Mare/Sheikh Issa frontline. Shortly after, another airstrike hit the SNA forces attacking from the north at the Maraanaz frontline.
Following fierce clashes, the Kurdish forces withdrew from the northern frontline at 14:00. However, they continued to resist in the countryside around Shahba. By 16:00, intense clashes were reported near Tal Rifaat city.
At this point, the internet in the Shahba region was cut off. By 18:00, the Kurdish forces withdrew from Shahba after receiving guarantees from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) that they would be provided with safe passage into the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES). Internally displaced persons (IDPs) gathered in the northern part of Aleppo, under the protection of Kurdish forces.
Al Bab frontline:
In the early morning hours, the Turkish-led Syrian National Army (SNA) cut off several roads south of Al Bab. The SNA also fully secured the Kuweriris airbase, gaining control of a Pantsir anti-aircraft system, helicopters, and L39 jets.
Manbij frontline:
Clashes were reported at the Abu Kahf (Tayha) border crossing during the early morning hours. Later, at 9:30 PM, the Turkish military began carrying out artillery strikes on the SDF-held village of Arap Hasan in the northern countryside of Manbij.
Kobane frontline:
In the early morning hours movements of the Turkish-led Syrian National Army (SNA) were spotted at the Jarabulus frontline.
Tal Tamir frontline:
At 11:45 AM, clashes broke out between the Turkish-led Syrian National Army (SNA) and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the village of Tal Tawil, located on the Tal Tamir frontline. The village lies between the M4 highway and the 716 road/highway.
Gire Spi frontline:
At 8:20 PM, the Turkish military conducted artillery strikes on three villages in the countryside of Gire Spi (Tal Abyad).
Qamishlo frontline:
At 5:20 PM, the Turkish military conducted an airstrike on a vehicle traveling on the Qamishlo-Hassekeh road. 1 soldier of the SDF has been martyred.
